The water is an essential good that us more limited every day. Thus, we should take care of its quantity and how it is used in order to avoid its waste.

Then, one of the main challenges that all the Hydraulic and Enviromental Services from any country must assume in these moments is the introduction of the rule 2000-60-CE, commonly known as the Framework Water Rule ( DMA, directive Marco del Agua, in Spainsh ).

This rule tries to incentive the water protection rules and manages properly such a wealthy good. This is rule has influenced the Spanish Waters Law. From several counties, we want to support too those steps steps to improve the conservation of water.

FOR A SUPPORTABLE TOURISM

The maximun effort to adopt the tecnology and the organization ways that allow the highest water savings in any moment should be carried out from the business field itself. We musn´t forget that those areas where the most of the tourism activity takes place are places with a lack of offers in the water resource.

The improvement in the water use, the saving politics, and the search of alternative supply sources ( whenever these are based on acceptable technologies from the environment point of viwe ) can even have effects on the touris's opinion about destiny places, taking into account the increasing importance given by the consumers to those matters.

Tourists hace negative reactions about congestion and enviroemnt degradation problems. if the tourim politics don't change its way we could get the paradox that it weren't the water resource the one that would break the business growth but some effects from its use. Of course we mustn't forget the deterioration of the life's quality that people who lives in the coast areas could suffer.

Due to these reasons we think it is essential to apply several efficiency attitudes in the sytems of water's use as a condition to get new resources.
